Alain has an extensive experience in the cardiovascular/radiology field with over 23 years with the USCI/Bard Corporation and now 6+ years with Ryan Medical.

Starting as a territory manager with the USCI International Division of Bard in 1979, Alain was transferred in 1982 to the Boston area for 4 years to start a formal training program for all the new European and Canadian subsidiaries and distributors. He returned to Canada in 1988, to the new position of Marketing Manager for the USCI group at Bard Canada. Following the integration of both groups, he was promoted to Sales Manager of the Cardiovascular Division covering all perfusion and vascular products. With the restructuring of the salesforces, Alain agreed to create a new Training and Sales Development program for Bard Canada. In this position Alain facilitated many sales techniques and strategic sales courses for the salesforce and provided reports on analysis of potential new sales opportunities. This led to the creation of the Radiology and Vascular Access Division in Canada. Alain took over the Marketing Management of that group and was a strong contributor to the significant growth in the overall sales and gross profit results of the division. Following another reorganization at Bard, Alain’s knowledge of the Electrophysiology business led to a newly created position of Canadian sales specialist and marketing  representative.  Alain left Bard in 2002.

After his hiring at RMD as a sales representative for some Montreal and Ottawa accounts, Alain was transferred to the head office to provide sales and service experience on a newly acquired product line of portable blood analyzers by Ryan Medical.  Finally Alain was asked to set up the new sales and marketing support manager and Contract manager position.

Alain’s experience in all facets of the medical products sales business has  provided Ryan Medical with a reliable source of information in a position to service both our growing base of customers and its sales personnel.
